Draft · last updated May 2026

This is a working draft. The studio is small and the practices here describe what we currently do. Before any commercial launch, this document should be reviewed by a Malta-qualified data protection lawyer.

Who we are

Saffi 3D is a small after-hours 3D printing studio based in Malta. The data controller is the studio operator, reachable at hello@saffi3d.com.

What we collect

To deliver a print order we need: your name, an email address, an optional phone number, a delivery or pickup choice, and the print details you send (file, dimensions, personalization text). We also receive the standard server logs that come with hosting a website.

Why we collect it

To produce, quote, deliver and follow up on your order, and to keep accounting records as required by Maltese tax law.

How long we keep it

Order details and invoices are kept for the period required by law for tax records. Marketing or analytics data is not collected at this time.

Who we share it with

Nobody, except service providers strictly necessary to fulfil the order — for example payment providers and, where relevant, a delivery courier. We do not sell or rent personal data.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access, correction or deletion of your data, and lodge a complaint with the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC) in Malta. Email us first at hello@saffi3d.com and we will reply within a working week.
